The hard part of an Eagle project is not the labor. It is standing in front of your board of review with a plan that holds up: what it costs, who pays for it, who does the work, and what the community gets when it is done. A disc golf course answers all four cleanly. The land is usually already there — a park, a church campus, a school, a scout camp with unused acreage. The build is honest outdoor work your crew can do in a weekend with shovels, a level, and a post-hole digger. And the finished course serves everyone who walks up to it, free, for as long as the baskets stand.
What separates a course that looks finished from one that looks improvised is the signage. Without signs, a new player stands on a tee pad with no idea where the basket is, how far away it sits, or which way the fairway bends. With them, the course reads like it was designed on purpose — because it was. Tee signs are also the piece of the project a review board can see, photograph, and point to. They are what turns cleared trees and buried posts into a course with an identity.

A sponsor sheet to fundraise with
Most Scouts fund the whole sign order through hole sponsorships. We give you a one-page sheet to hand to local businesses that shows exactly what a sponsor gets — their logo on a permanent sign at a hole, seen by every player, for years. It is a much easier ask than a donation.
Design done for you
You will not be laying out artwork the week before your build day. Sketch each hole in pencil on the template we send, photograph it with your phone, and we draw every sign to scale — fairway, distance, par, OB, basket, and your sponsors' logos placed properly.

Shipping is free anywhere in the United States with no minimum order, so a nine-hole course in another state costs a Scout exactly what it costs one down the road from us. Signs arrive packed with the corners protected.
A timeline you can plan around
Under two weeks from approved information to signs in hand, in most cases. Order as soon as your project is signed off and you will have them in plenty of time for the build weekend you already told everyone about.

We send the itemized quote and the sponsor sheet together, usually the same day. One goes in your workbook; the other goes in your hand when you start visiting businesses.
Sketch the holes once the course is staked
After your crew has measured and set tee locations, sketch each hole on our template and send it in. We design from your sketches and email a PDF proof of every sign for you to check.
Approve, and set your build day
You approve the proof, we print and ship free, and you install signs that make the whole project look like it was done by professionals — because that part was.

It is one of the better ones. It gives lasting benefit to the community, it needs real planning and leadership from you, and it puts a crew of Scouts to work measuring, clearing, digging, and installing. When it is finished it is a public amenity your town will use for decades — with your name on the plaque.

How do Scouts pay for the signs?
Most fund the project with hole sponsorships. Local businesses pay to have their logo on a hole, and at typical sponsorship rates a handful of sponsors covers a nine-hole set. We put every sponsor logo on the sign we design, and we will send you a sponsor sheet you can hand to businesses when you ask.
How much do the signs cost?
Signs generally run $100 each, with free shipping anywhere in the United States and no minimum order. A nine-hole course with one tee pad per hole is nine signs; two tee pads per hole makes it eighteen.
How long will it take to get the signs?
Under two weeks in most cases once we have your hole information. Design takes two to three days, then proofing, printing, and transit. Plan your build day with a little margin and order as soon as your project is approved.
What if I have never designed a sign before?
Nobody has, their first time. You sketch each hole on a template we send you — a pencil drawing photographed with your phone is enough — and we draw the finished sign from it. You approve a PDF proof before anything prints.
Do you work with troops outside Louisiana?
Yes. We are based in Haughton, Louisiana and ship free to every state, so where your course is being built makes no difference to the price.
